As the Founding Partner of Hodgson Pratt Pratt & Saunders, PC, John served as Managing Partner of the firm until 2007. Today John provides services to manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, medical practices and professional service organizations.
John provides consulting services to our clients, including strategic planning, succession planning, Myers-Briggs testing and general business consulting. John also has extensive experience with business valuations for the sale and transfer of businesses, estate and gift transactions, and litigation support.

- John led a $20 million dollar company in the complete restructuring of its organization and operations. This repositioned them for a national expansion.
- John successfully negotiated the sale of a $25 million dollar manufacturing business to an international corporation.
- His estate plan saved a high net worth client over $3 million dollars in estate tax savings.
- He helped a major Connecticut Hospital acquire approximately 25 physician practices.

Personal
John is married with five children and five grandchildren. He resides in Tiverton, Rhode Island with his wife, Mary, who is Executive Director of the Schwartz Center, a certified diagnostic and educational facility for children with disabilities located in Southeastern Massachusetts.
