While conducting a search for a candidate for a permanent position, we were asked to serve as the practice administrator on a part-time basis. During the following six-month period we identified over $150,000 in cost savings resulting from staff restructuring and changes in methods of practice operations.

Nearly 200 business and community leaders attended the Chamber’s 122nd Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Century House in Acushnet. The program was sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
James R. Pratt, Jr., Managing Partner of Hodgson Pratt & Associates was elected to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Chamber. He succeeds Peter Muise, President & CEO of First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union, who now moves to the position of Immediate Past Chair of the Board.

Hodgson Pratt & Associates is pleased to announce Kyle Yermalovich has joined the firm as a senior accountant in the Audit Department. Kyle received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Assumption College and a Masters of Business Administration from Quinnipiac University.

The partners of Hodgson Pratt & Associates announced the appointment of James R. Pratt, Jr., CPA, MST, as managing Director of the firm. Jim will succeed John Hodgson, Jr., CPA, CFP, who has served as the Managing Director of the Firm for the past 33 years. John will continue his partner and client service responsibilities within the firm.
